My name is Julia Tatishcheva. I was born on 02/06/74 in Leningrad where I still live, though my wonderful native city carries it's historical name now - Saint-Petersburg.
While being a little girl, I loved animals a lot. Parrots, hamsters, a cat, aquarian fishes and even a rabbit lived in our flat! But my most cherished dream was to have a dog. And it didn't matter - big or small, pure-bred or not. My dream came true when I was 11. My mother gave me a dog, that was a white miniature poodle! Since that time and until now the dogs of this breed fill the world around me with the joyful fuss.
My enormous affection towards these animals led me to the Biological Faculty of the State University of Saint-Petersburg. While studying there I became interested in biochemistry and molecular genetics. After graduating from the University I entered the post-graduate course with the specialty in biochemistry. In 2001 I defended the thesis and got the Degree of Candidate of Biology Sciences. I have been working in the Institute for Experimental Medicine of the Russian Academy of Medicine Sciences for 7 years. I am engaged in the research of molecular basis of several inherited illnesses of a human being.
My family consists of my husband Serg and my little daughter Ksenya. She was born on September 13, 2002. But even now she has a great interest in animals. I am very pleased that she treats them with a huge tenderness. Ksenya helps me to look after the puppies, she feeds them and controls that everyone gets the equal portion.
Anyhow my poodles have a particular place in my life since 1985. I make there grooming, handling and breeding by myself. Now 3 poodles live in my flat and I am the co-owner of 7 others. In the nearest time I'm going to take one more poodle, but to tell the truth I would like to more. Unfortunately my dogs have the only opportunity to frisk in the open air when we go to our country house in summer. All the rest time we live in a big but still city flat, where there is barely enough place for 3-4 dogs.
I am very sociable person and I appreciate friendship relations. I value honesty and sincerity in people most of all and I always try to treat my friends in the same manner as I would like them to treat me. |
